About RMNP

Rocky Mountain Native Plants Company produces and installs an extremely wide variety of native plants for use throughout the Western United States. We annually produce over 4,000,000 native plants representing more than 350 indigenous species from uplands to wetlands ranging from prairie ecosystems all the way to the highest alpine elevations. Our projects range from National Parks to National Forests to large-scale resort areas, corporate campuses, golf courses, and private residences.

Rocky Mountain Native Plants Company fulfills your native plant needs by providing the following products and services:

– Site Specific Plant Propagation
– Contract Plant Production
– Plant Installation Services
– Project Specific Consulting

Our company helps to solve your revegetation needs through a blend of ecological expertise combined with the highest quality of native plant materials. Strong root vigor is one of the greatest keys to good plant survival. We offer over 150 woody species in a variety of container sizes that promote good root vigor. For woody plants we sell 1-quart, 1-gallon and 5-gallon sizes as well as larger sizes by special order. We are very excited about our 1-qt container line. At a fraction of the cost of a 1-gallon, our 1-quart plants have a full 9-inches of rooting depth allowing improved access to soil hydrology as well as offering a superior alternative to staking for riparian areas and wetland sites.

For the 200 plus grasses, grass-likes, and herbaceous plants that we sell, the 10 cubic inch Ray Leach supercell is our preferred container size. Being approximately 6-inches depth and 1.25-inches width at the collar, the Ray Leach supercell provides superior plants with excellent root vigor and root to shoot biomass characteristics. The 10 cubic inch Ray Leach supercell is superior to other container types of a similar volume (such as 2.5-inch F32) by having greater root depth and extension which allow better access to soil hydrology as well as improved site stabilization. By special order and contract grow, we also sell more value oriented container sizes.
